THIS PROGRAMME IS NOT OPENING IN 2008
EDHEC Business School's Master in European Business prepares participants for international business and management careers with a distinctive European dimension. The programme equips participants with a thorough understanding of the diverse context in which international business is carried out and centres on the legislation and practices of European trade. Students gain extensive knowledge of the European Community, how it functions, its rules and regulations; they learn how to develop business with European companies and design and implement winning strategies for European operations.
While the principal areas of management are developed, (Human Resources, Strategy, Finance, Law...) the specialisation of the international business environment is central in such classes as Global Trade Management, International Marketing and Multinational Corporate Finance, providing participants with the analytical, technical and managerial skills required for success in an international future.

The programme brings together participants from a wide range of countries, cultures, academic and professional backgrounds, to build a rich learning environment of exchange and dialogue that is highly conducive to personal development. In 2005-06, 10 different nationalities were represented in the Master in European Business, with 75% of the class made up of non-French participants. The international focus is again furthered in that courses are delivered by an international faculty team of high-level academics and professionals from multinational corporations and European institutions.
Learning methods foster independent thinking, problem solving skills, managerial competencies and the ability to function as team member and group leader in an international and culturally diverse environment. The managerial competencies workshops aim at reinforcing participants' ability to go beyond the traditional managerial functions (planning, organizing, directing and controlling) and take on the roles of entrepreneurs/intrapreneurs, team-builders and leaders required from professionals in today's high performing organizations.
